Publications and talks

As well as producing the images you see on this site, I am an experienced author and speaker, having written for all sorts of publications from scientific journals to national press. I pride myself on adapting to my audience, producing quality material, even at very short notice. As Jeff Meyer of Amateur Photographer wrote, "The layout looks really nice, and your copy was very well written." I will be delighted to write articles for your magazine to accompany my images or deliver talks at your camera club.

Talk at the Saltburn Photographic Society

On the Wednesday 25th of January, I will deliver a talk at Saltburn's Methodist Church about Iceland, which is sub-titled "Something and Nothing". I will be presenting just under a hundred quality images to illustrate my visit to this awe-inspiring country. I will also give practical information on when and where to visit, etc. The subtitle reflects Iceland's barren landscapes with its patches of life, as much as my predilection for spare compositions.
